GAF is hiring a Minneapolis, MN manufacturing chemical process engineer that is highly qualified and self- motivated. Relocation will be available to the right candidate. We are looking for someone that has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing environment.

Job Description for Minneapolis, MN Manufacturing Process Engineer:

As a GAF Process Engineer we are looking for someone who has the skill set to be responsible for successfully developing, executing, and controlling multiple projects to achieve specific site goals. Using your engineering expertise, the candidate must be able to conduct an analysis and investigation pertaining to the development of new facilities as well as modifying existing facilities. The Process Engineer that GAF is looking for is someone who can recommend suggestions such as savings in cost, structure improvement, monitor the availability of materials and equipment, and really focus on safety and optimum performance.

Knowledge in the following areas for the Minneapolis, MN Process Engineer job are desirable, but not a necessity:

• Asphalt Processing
• Storage and transport systems
• Experience with electrical distribution systems, and instrumentation
• Knowledge of PLC’s and AC/DC drives
• Rotating equipment
• Machine Design
• Hydraulic, Pneumatic systems, bearings, lubrication, etc.
