Penske Reading, PA CDL Truck Driver Job Positions

CDL Long-Haul Drivers - This position requires drivers to transport cargot from distribution centers to local distribution outlets

CDL Short-Haul Drivers - These drivers transport merchandise from local distribution outlets to local retailers and production faciltiies

CDL Delivery Drivers - These drivers move merchandise to and from Penske locations and customer locations. Drivers may also be responsible for loading, unloading, and in some cases installing products.

Penske Reading, PA CDL Truck Driver Job Qualifications

-At least 23 years of age required

-CDL Class A with Hazmat endorsement required for certain openings

-2 years of tractor trailer driving experience in the last 5 years required

-2 years of clean DMV/MVR record required

-High School Diploma or equivalent required

-Driving school and or safety certifications preferred

-Dealing with people skills, reliable and customer oriented, and ability to work independently required

-Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment required

-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
